JAZZ FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE™

Presented by the NAACP of the Oranges and Maplewood, NJ and the national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Racial Bias Dot Org, Inc., Jazz for Social Justice™ is the music and cultural movement showcasing Jazz ensemble performances led by one of the world’s most acclaimed bassists, Curtis Lundy, who co-wrote and arranged one of the biggest songs of all time, Grammy ‘Song of the Year’ nominee and MTV ‘Video of the Year’ nominee, the multi-platinum selling Hip-Hop instant classic, “Jesus Walks,” which “Rolling Stone” Magazine called  “one of the 500 greatest songs of all time.”

Jazz For Social Justice™ is the soon-to-be-launched world concert tour designed to tamp down the level of violence in our communities, to help spread love through music, and to inspire greater understanding and appreciation for cultures other than one’s own.  The platform will also be used to introduce content that will bring people together vs. tear them apart.
